WHAT DO I BELIEVE?

The Bible is the truth and my only authority for what I believe and how I live (2 Tim 3.15-17). There is only one God and He revealed Himself to us as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit. The One God manifested in and through authentic human life of Jesus Christ. To see Jesus is to see God. (Deut 6.4; John 14.9; Eph 4.4-6; Col 2.9; 1 Tim 3.16). The gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel and apply it to our lives by repenting of our sins (death to sin), being baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins (burial), receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit with speaking in new tongues (resurrection). This experience is the pattern of the early church. (1 Cor 15.1-4; 2 Thes 1.8; 1 Pet 4.17; Mark 1.15; Acts 15.7; Rom 6.3-4; Acts 2.4, 37-39; 8.9-17; 10.1-48; 19.1-7).
